Wordology - Learn More About the Languages
This app can add a calque (translation) to a foreign-language web-page to help you learn more about the languages and improve your vocabulary.
What is Wordology?
Wordology is a browser add-on for Chrome and Firefox that allows you to add translations to individual words on the web. It was inspired by FLTR and Lingq, two other websites with similar features.
You can mark words in any language you want with the Wordology mark. You can mark both known and unknown terns, allowing you to quickly recognize which ones you already know.
The colors indicate whether a word is known to you (green), unknown (red), or both (purple). If the color changes to unknown when you hover over it, that means that the term is not in your vocabulary.
You can search both for a word in the current page and in the entire web to help you find terms that you didn't know before. They are sorted in reverse order, so you can easily look up the words that are easiest for you.
